Enjoy Berkeley County's Blueways

Enjoy paddling on the rivers and waterways of the Lowcountry natural highways. Berkeley County has an abundance of waters suitable for canoeing and kayaking that can provide great back to nature experiences for the entire family. I found this great video on You Tube created in 1988 with by the Clemson Extension and Berkeley County.  Berkeley Blueways SC

You can go to the Berkeley County GIS site to view detail interactive map of Berkeley County or call 843-719-4049 for information. A detail map of Francis Marion National Forest is available from the Witherbee Ranger Station at 2421 Witherbee Road, Cordesville, SC 29434. The station's phone number is 843-336-3248.

Also found this great Facebook page for  Friends of Berkeley Blueways that if you interested in Canoeing or Kayaking the Lowcountry you should check out.

A great place for canoeing and kayaking is the Old Santee Canal State Park in Moncks Crner. http://www.oldsanteecanalpark.org
